50% affordable homes to be delivered by Canning Town redevelopment

EPR Architects’ design for the redevelopment of the Manor Road site in Canning Town has secured a resolution to grant planning permission. The regeneration led masterplan for The English Cities Fund – a joint venture between urban regeneration specialist, Muse Developments, Legal & General and Homes England - comprises up to 804 new homes in a range of sizes and tenures in addition to retail and commercial units to support local start-ups and entrepreneurial small businesses. Phase one achieved approval for detailed proposals, with outline consent approved for phases two and three. In total, the development will see the delivery of 50% affordable homes.
