EPR to convert TfL’s former Broadway HQ into hotel

Blue Orchid Night

EPR Architects has been granted permission for our recent application to convert Transport for London’s (TfL) Grade I listed former headquarters building at 55 Broadway overlooking St James’s Park into a hotel. The former office building will be transformed into a 526-key luxury hotel, conference venue and leisure facility for Blue Orchid Hotels, part of the Integrity International Group.

The application was unanimously granted consent at Westminster’s remote access planning committee, with councillors welcoming the heritage-led approach and public benefits brought by the hotel proposal which will reintroduce the original placemaking concepts of the 1929 building and make this important Grade I listed building accessible to the public for the very first time.
